connecting with technology during the pandemic.
The Hyperlocal project was implemented for the first time with 12 families of Altamira community in Monterrey, during the pandemic. The families were equipped with a box of materials, a smart phone and a raspberry pie, a device they referred to as “El aparatito”
Through it, the were able to connect to a local network to download tutorials and other resources as well as communicate and share among them. For a month, children and parents did creative and technological activities (drawing robot, homemade soap, mask and message codifier) resulting in unique desings and products.
